PRP Treatment

Platelet-rich plasma injections are an effective and minimally invasive treatment, using your own blood to promote healing. It is a form of regenerative medicine, which focuses on harnessing and amplifying the body’s own natural healing abilities.

This procedure involves collection of the patients’ blood which is then centrifuged to separate the red blood cells from the platelets and the plasma. Platelet Rich Plasma means there is a high platelet concentration in a small volume of plasma. PRP is rich in growth factors and stem cells and is commonly referred to as ‘liquid gold’ given its appearance and its abundance of rejuvenating qualities.

PRP treatment can be performed on not only the face and neck but all over the body. It is hugely successful in the treatment of areas like the upper and lower eye area, on fine lines and wrinkles, for ageing and sagging skin, acne scars and thinning hair.
